1. About Ruff to Refined

Ruff to Refined is an online dog training platform operated by Ruff Diamond Dog Training.
The platform provides access to a library of dog training videos designed to support dog owners in training their dogs. All videos are provided via streaming access.
The content provided on the platform is for educational purposes only and does not replace professional training, behavioural, or veterinary advice.

2. Educational Content and Training Guidance

The training exercises and advice provided within Ruff to Refined are intended as general guidance only.
Every dog is an individual, and training outcomes will vary depending on the dog, the environment, and how the exercises are applied. The techniques demonstrated may not be suitable for every dog or situation.
Ruff to Refined does not provide personalised behavioural advice.
Dog owners remain fully responsible for the management, supervision, safety, and welfare of their dog at all times when carrying out any training exercises shown on the platform.

3. Safety and Welfare

Some training exercises demonstrated within the platform may involve:
• handling and health-check style exercises
• the use of training equipment
• off-lead training
• training around distractions or other dogs

Owners should always assess whether an exercise is appropriate and safe for their individual dog and environment before attempting it.
Off-lead training should only be attempted in safe and appropriate locations where it is legal and safe to do so.
If a dog displays aggression, severe anxiety, fear, or other significant behavioural concerns, owners should seek support from a qualified dog training or behaviour professional before attempting training exercises.

4. Limitation of Liability

By using Ruff to Refined, members acknowledge that they are responsible for applying training exercises safely and appropriately for their individual dog.
Ruff Diamond Dog Training cannot accept responsibility or liability for any injury, behavioural issues, damage, or loss that may arise from the use or misuse of the training advice provided within the platform.
Ruff Diamond Dog Training does not guarantee specific training outcomes or results.

5. Membership and Access

Access to Ruff to Refined is provided through a subscription.
Members will have access to the training video library for the duration of an active subscription.
Membership accounts are for individual use only and must not be shared with others.
Ruff Diamond Dog Training reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where misuse of the platform is suspected.
Members must be aged 18 years or over to create an account or subscribe to the platform.

6. Free Trial

New users may be offered a free trial period to explore the platform.
The free trial provides temporary access to the training library for the duration of the trial period.
At the end of the trial period, access will end unless the user chooses to subscribe to a paid membership.
Ruff Diamond Dog Training reserves the right to limit or withdraw free trial access where misuse is suspected.

7. Pricing

Subscription pricing will be displayed at the time of purchase.
Members who maintain an active subscription will retain the price that was available when they joined.
If a membership is cancelled and later restarted, the subscription will be at the price available at the time of re-joining.

8. Cancellation

Members may cancel their subscription at any time.
Cancellation will stop future billing. Access to the platform will remain available until the end of the current billing period.
No refunds will be issued for unused time within a billing period.

9. Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
Ruff Diamond Dog Training does not store or have access to members’ payment card details.

10. Intellectual Property

All content within Ruff to Refined, including videos, text, graphics, and materials, remains the property of Ruff Diamond Dog Training.
Videos are provided via streaming access only.
Content must not be copied, downloaded, reproduced, distributed, shared, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

11. Community Group

Members may be invited to join a private Facebook community associated with Ruff to Refined.
Participation in this group is optional.

Ruff Diamond Dog Training is not responsible for advice shared by other members within the community.
Members who behave inappropriately, share abusive content, or otherwise breach community guidelines may be removed from the group.

12. Platform Availability

While every effort is made to ensure continuous access to Ruff to Refined, Ruff Diamond Dog Training cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Access may occasionally be affected by technical issues, platform maintenance, or circumstances outside of our control.

13. Changes to Content and Services

Training materials, videos, and platform features may be updated, added, or removed at any time in order to improve the platform.

14. Changes to Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the most recent version of the Terms and Conditions.

15. Privacy

Personal information provided when creating an account or subscribing will be handled in accordance with the Ruff Diamond Dog Training Privacy Policy.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Booking and payments

Any bookings will be classed as provisional until full payment is received.

Cancellation Policy

One to one sessions – Cancellation with less than 72 hours notice – full fee payable. 72 hours notice required to reschedule any session.

Courses & workshops – Cancellation with less than 7 days notice – full fee payable.

Your dog

Each customer is responsible for their dog at all times. Ruff Diamond Dog Training accepts no responsibility for any injury or damages to any animal, person or property while participating in any session online or in person.
The information and any training/behavioural advice suggested are based on the information given by the client. Training will generally take time and requires patience and dedication from the client. We cannot guarantee that the training plan will work, as each animal is an individual case, nor is it possible to foresee if another problem may arise as a result of the training.
No mis-handling or physical abuse of dogs will be condoned.
Aggressive dogs will not be allowed in classes.
Any bitch in season is not allowed to attend group sessions until the season is finished.
For group classes proof of vaccination in the form of the dog’s up to date vaccination certificate or titre test must be shown at your first training class. These yearly vaccinations must cover Hepatitis, Distemper, Leptospirosis and Parvovirus./behav

Handling

No choke chains (Also referred to as check chains), prong collars, slip lead or electric collars are allowed.
Flat, non slip footwear must be worn.
No handler under the age of 16 years will be allowed to participate in any training session unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

Coaching & Online support for 1-1 sessions

I will respond within 24 hours to all messages unless you are advised otherwise in advance.

Class Disruptions or Cancellations Due to Circumstances Beyond Our Control

In the event that a class cannot go ahead due to circumstances beyond our control; such as adverse weather conditions (e.g. extreme heat, snow, ice), unsafe travel conditions, venue issues (e.g. hall unavailable), or other unforeseen events, alternative arrangements will be provided. Clients will receive access to online training materials covering the missed content and are encouraged to submit videos for personalised feedback. This ensures continuity of learning and enables participants to stay on track with the course. Refunds or class extensions will not be offered in these instances, as suitable alternative provision has been made.
