Does your dog pull on the lead, ignore you around distractions, or get a little over-excited when meeting people? Perhaps you’ve taken on a rescue, your adolescent dog has started testing the boundaries, or you’ve simply decided now is the time to begin training.
Whatever the reason, our Starters Course is the perfect introduction for dogs over 20 weeks of age. Over 6 weeks, you’ll build the foundations of everyday good manners; walking calmly on lead, coming back when called, greeting politely, staying when asked, and showing better food manners. You’ll also practise handling skills to help your dog feel more comfortable with checks and grooming. By the end, you’ll have the tools to make life with your dog calmer and more enjoyable.
With small class sizes, you’ll receive plenty of individual attention in a relaxed and supportive environment. Training is fun, reward-based, and tailored to suit dogs of all ages, from lively adolescents to older rescues taking their first steps in training. Please note this course is not suitable for dogs who are reactive to people or other dogs; for those, we recommend one-to-one training.
Suitable for all dogs over 20 weeks old, whether adolescent, newly rescued, or simply in need of a training boost.
Perfect for puppies under 20 weeks at the start of the course, this is the ideal way to give them the best start in life and build skills you’ll both rely on for years to come.
For dogs over 20 weeks of age at the start of the course.
Great introduction to training. Dogs MUST be ok with other dogs and people.
